Perfect and convenient location close to the steak house we wanted to go, and separate bedrooms. Based just off central Bordeaux.

Great hotel with perfect central location in the center of Bordeaux. Rooms are a bit dark and small for the value. The brasserie that belongs to the hotel offers very good dishes and wines. I have to mention also that the concierge and reception staff is outstanding. The best hotel to choose in Bordeaux.

The entire experience was fantastic, I was here with some of my shareholders to relax and enjoy and the staff, facilities and location of this wonderful hotel made that possible. We left Bordeaux for St Emilion for a few days and they looked after all the baggage and made it feel like nothing was a problem. I cannot praise the staff enough for their pleasant demeanour and the helpful, yet unobtrusive attitude. From the cleaning staff to the management, this is a superior group of people.
Only minor thing is they have very few English TV channels, but we weren't here to watch TV ...

The location of this hotel next to souvenir shops, and restaurants, shopping, river was amazing and incredible. It also was opposite the Opera House in the Place de la Comedie. Outstanding food in the gourmet restaurant was the best part.

The room was really nice, with a
Comfortable bed and a separate sitting area. I found the decor a bit outdated and not to my taste. The staff were great.

Very helpful staff at recepton &concierge, charming spa, trendy location.
Junior suite was really junior - I could not even imagine such small room.. Night bartender simply ruined our last night in France, showing arougance and impudance France was famous for and French tourism office was fighting with quite succesfully, but unfortunately not in Bordeaux "best" hotel.

The staff were excellent, very professional and welcoming. The room was beautifully clean, spacious and appointed to a very high standard. Considering the great location in the centre of Bordeaux the room was very quiet, probably one of the quietest we've stayed in.

Breakfast at 32 euros per person is too expensive. Pool in the spa not big enough to swim in - and too cold for sitting in the rather poor jets. Not worth the entry fee of 38 euros for hotel guests.

Stayed at the hotel for three nights. The restaurant was superb, other than having a table full of Chinese next to us who had two interpreters running around the table explaining/translating. Still an enjoyable meal non-the-less, and chef Pascal Nibaudeau came and spoke with us which was nice - although only because he had to come and 'shmooze' the Chinese clients who I assume were carrying big bank books! Location is great, right next to the shopping area, opposite the opera house and two mins from the tourist centre and tour buses. Reception and concierge were very helpful.
The room was well finished and luxurious, however it consisted of a very narrow hallway with the mini-bar, safe etc being right at the entry, and the bedroom at the other end - the oddest shaped hotel room I've stayed in. Virtually no room to place an open suitcase let alone two, which for the price we payed was not good enough. Unfortunately the hotel's gym and spa were still being constructed, which we were not advised when booking. The staff at the bar were not attentive at all, and on two occassions I had to get up and order drinks - not great when they are standing around chatting instead of servicing the customer. The couple beside us didn't hold back on their criticism! Not good enough for a 5 star hotel.
